With the economy in a big crunch, a lot of people are looking to cut costs at home, and one of the first things to get pared down or eliminated entirely is cable TV service. The cable companies don't want that to happen, though, because if you drop your packages, then they lose both money and business! Everyone likes the idea of getting great cable channels for only a couple bucks a month, so you can imagine how popular this promotion was and continues to be. Other satellite companies may not always offer the same deals at the same time, so if you are considering switching, make sure that you find out what promotions are available at the exact time you are ready to do it. After all, the point to having a TV is being able to watch what YOU want to watch!
